Cristal was born in 1994 as a glass factory which took its inspiration from ancient leaded stained glass windows in the most beautiful Christian cathedrals.
Out of this inspiration a series of applications were developed, always linked to the manufacturing of precious glass, so that Cristal has become a national distinguished name as far as stained glass is concerned.
Research was meanwhile carried out to replace leaded glass with a cutting edge technique like stratification, which has legitimately brought Cristal to security certified products.

Cristal stratified glass doors are produced with high quality materials, following precise manufacturing stages that get inspiration from ancient techniques of glass craftsmanship. Cristal glass door collections Cristal has succeeded year by year since 1994 in proposing the customers a wide range of doors, from plain glass models, to structures enriched with painted decoration, graphic finishings, natural dehydrated leaves or linen fabric. Brightness and transparency guaranteed. Moreover, when set between the two panes of glass, decorations are protected from external agents or substances and remain beautiful in time, thanks to the stratification technique. In full compliance with the European safety legislation, Cristal products have been certified since 2002 by SSV (Stazione Sperimentale del Vetro), which is entitled to High Qualification in the Applied Research Field (UNI EN ISO 12543-4.). Experiments were carried out to test glass resistance to impacts, heat and moisture.
