Rice paper is another material of Eastern origins that Cristal stratifies within two glass panes in order to achieve really peculiar effects; rice paper is proposed both as a whole pane, and etched to make decorations or cut so as to shape further effects. This creates light harmonies which recall a fantasy dimension. Moreover it is possible to customize panes in several further ways.


Rice paper, also called Washi, is a typical Japanese creation, manufactured around 600. It is paper sheet manufactured by hand out of different kinds of plants, Matsumata and Kozo, which belong to the Daphne species and Gampi, which on the other hand comes from the mulberry family.
